Protonmail imap10/7/2023 ![]() Our owner particularly, uses a ton of iOS devices, and clings with a death grip to the app Spark for his e-mail. I know that getting traditional IMAP/SMTP access is not happening with a regular account outside of the Bridge app, but we use 3rd party software that requires it, so if we have our custom domain with ProtonMail for business I see we can get traditional access, but will we have traditional mail stuff we can mess with like SPF records for our vendors, DKIM/DMARC that will work properly, and the sort? Also, would it be using TLS 1.2 or another protocol? My questions, since I may FINALLY have enough pull to get us to switch to ProtonMail, are as follows. After all that work, we still are being blocked by all receiving servers using gmail, yahoo, and pretty much everyone except Microsoft because our reputation score is barely existent. We had to go step by step turning off every security option that exists, for *most* to come back in working order when re-enabled. ![]() Our account provisioning barely worked, and all the settings access we needed beyond basic domain registration stuff was broken. ![]() Since they are a solid Microsoft fan, they started with Office365 for business. After recently getting fed up with our web hosting email service (shared IP = getting called spam all the time) I, as the closest to my org's IT department, have been trying to coax our owner to switching to a dedicated mail exchanger.
